Sled / rails / drive bay cover for IBM PS/2 Model 60 80

Description

I created these parts to make it easier to use the drive bays in an IBM Model 60 and Model 80 with standard PC parts such as 3.5″ floppy drives, Gotek drives, SD to IDE, CF to IDE, SCSI2SD, etc.

There are a few parts available here:

• A replacement drive sled (6279236) which is compatible with the original sled that comes with Model 60/80 systems. This sled was designed to be compatible with a Model 60/80 even if there is not a back plate on the drive bay.
• A set of 2 rails (risers) which elevate a standard 3.5″ drive to a height that’s compatible with the optional faceplate. These rails are compatible with the original drive sled and the drive sled available in this auction. The rails will come with 3 sets of 4 screws. The first set will attach the risers to a standard 3.5″ drive. The second set will connect the risers to a Gotek drive. The third set will attach the risers to the sled.
• A faceplate with no opening.
• A faceplate with a 24.5 x 99.5mm opening.
